Nonetheless, Bridget is a fine patron for a modern woman: her father was a very alpha-type chietain (pagan) and her mother was a Christian slave!

Came across your blog when you replied to Kara’s concerns about a second coming into their life. I noticed your last blog detailed how you are working through the changes in your relationship and life with the marriage to K. You haven’t written in several months and was just curious about how you are now. You seem so young to have experienced so much.
And yes you are strong and capable as you wrote in November. Your name Bridget in Gaelic means power, strength and vigor. An alternative meaning is
“exalted one.”
You mentioned the children needing you. As an older mother…children grow up and leave the nest and often the closeness and contact is much less as they live their lives. Have something to fill that void. It can be very lonely.
